Annual Fund
We have a 49-year history of providing an inclusive preschool experience for children with special needs and believe all children benefit from learning alongside peers of varying abilities. Learn more about how our services changed Pilar's life and give to our Annual Fund.
Stressbusters
About 13% of children and adolescents experience an anxiety disorder. We believe early intervention is key. Learn about our Stressbusters Group for children ages 7 - 9.
Waivered Services
Waivered services foster the development of life skills in both the home and community. Services are designed to meet individual and family needs and may include:
- In-home support
- Hourly respite
- Overnight respite
- Personal support
- Goal development
- Residential support
- Flexible case management
These services are available for children and adults with developmental disabilities who receive a DD or CADI waiver. Referrals are made by social workers in Hennepin and Anoka Counties.
Payment/Funding
Services are funded through the individual's DD or CADI Waiver and/or Consumer Directed Community Supports. Recipients must be eligible for Medical Assistance.
