Personal Care Assistance

In-Home Support

Personal Care Assistants (PCA) provide assistance and care to individuals with special needs including developmental disabilities, chronic health problems or mental health diagnoses.

Personal Care Assistance (PCA) services provide assistance and support for persons with disabilities, living independently in their community. PCA services are provided in the individuals home or in the community.

Our program carefully matches each client with a trained PCA. Types of assistance provided by a PCA will vary based on individual need, but may include:

  • Behavior redirection/intervention
  • Assistance with participating in home and community settings
  • Offer families relief from the daily stresses of caregiving

  • Receive an assessment from a Public Health Nurse
