We want to inform you about some construction work happening at our Minnetonka site. This roofing replacement project is essential to maintaining our facility and will result in some temporary noise and adjustments to our parking and traffic flow. We are truly sorry for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience during this time! Key Details: Increased Vehicle Presence: You’ll notice construction vehicles in our lot, mainly along the outer ring of the parking area. Parking Adjustments: Beginning Monday, October 7, phases 1 and 2 of the project will require some parking spaces to be blocked. We will provide temporary handicap parking signs as 3-4 handicap spots on the north side (near the speech therapy door) will be impacted. Sidewalk & Road Closure: A section of the sidewalk and road between the main entrance and the transportation door will be blocked. While this will close the driving loop, a lane will remain open for vehicles to pull up. Peak Traffic Consideration: The construction team will do their best to avoid disruptions during our busiest times around 9 am, 12 pm, and 4 pm. Impact on Programs: As the work moves toward the south side of the building, it will have less impact on family areas but may still affect some of our programs. We are working closely with program leaders to minimize any disruptions. We understand that these adjustments may cause some inconvenience, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding as we improve our facility. We will continue to keep you updated on any significant changes throughout this project.
