April 28, 2025: Severe Weather Update

Dear Families,

We are aware and staying attuned to the potential for severe weather today. We practice severe weather protocols regularly to ensure we are ready to keep clients, families and staff safe if needed. We will remain open until 6 p.m. at our Minnetonka and Minneapolis centers.

As with any decision about your child’s safety, you can make your own choice based on what feels right for your family.

For our ECE families served at our Minnetonka location, we’re asking you to consider picking up your child by 4:30 p.m. as you are able. This will allow us to reduce the number of children and staff onsite as the storm enters the area. We will of course remain open for families who are not able to, or choose not to, pick up early.

Severe weather is hard to predict, but is currently expected between 4-8 p.m. Please stay tuned to local news and weather outlets for the latest information.

We are actively monitoring weather warnings and will update families immediately if closure becomes essential, or if there are other developments.

If you would like to cancel your afternoon appointments please call Central Intake at: (952) 548-8700.  If you receive services at a partner site, we defer to those sites’ protocols.
