Our Approach
Evidence-Based
As a leader in evidence-based approaches, St. David's sets the standard of excellence for humanistic care that works. Our team brings decades of expertise and ongoing advanced training, across disciplines, ensuring families have access to nationally recognized, best-in-class services.
Rooted in Relationship
We listen to understand and respect every path that leads to St. David's. We build trust and connection, not only with children, adults, and families, but also with schools, pediatricians, and county and state agencies to create authentic, comprehensive support with lasting impact.
Interdisciplinary
Our teams collaborate—speech and occupational therapy, mental health, autism treatment, music therapy, and more—to provide integrated whole-child, whole-person, whole-family treatment.

Early Intervention Works.
Research shows that when developmental, emotional, or behavioral challenges emerge for a child, intervening in the first years of life catalyzes trajectory-changing outcomes. That's why our pediatric services emphasize children from birth to age 8, and their families. Our 60 years of experience prove that children, families, communities, and all of Minnesota benefit when children are set on the path to success at this developmentally pivotal stage.

Lighting the way to Lifelong Independence.
At the heart of St. David's is the belief that our communities do best when everyone is given the tools they need to reach their full potential. This is especially true in our decades of work with youth and adults with enduring needs. Our teams nurture independence and empower individuals through in-home services and therapeutic recreation to live with dignity, community, and fun.
