Supported Living Services
Supported Living Services (SLS) for adults with developmental disabilities is centered on the value of each individual's strengths, contribution to the community and desire for independent living.
Services are designed for individuals who are ready to transition to their own home with staff support, desire a high level of independence, and have the ability to be alone for periods of time throughout the day.
Becky, Jacob's sister and guardian, shares the journey she and Jacob
took for him to live in a place of his own.
We partner with families to provide individualized, goal-directed service plans that allow for optimal growth and development in the least restrictive setting. Program Goals:
- Help clients maintain and improve independent living skills
- Create environments where clients participate in the decisions affecting them, their home and their community
- Present opportunities to increase socialization, build relationships and experience community life
- Offer families relief from the daily stresses of caregiving
Services may be paid for through a Developmental Disabilities waiver or private pay.
