Family Place: Preschool Day Treatment
Emotional and behavioral disturbances can be detrimental to a child's success making friends and learning in school. Applying decades of expertise in early childhood mental health, Preschool Day Treatment at St. David's Center addresses this growing community need.
Through diagnostic assessment and treatment, our team of licensed mental health professionals and practitioners help repair social, emotional and behavioral functioning in children 3.5 years through kindergarten.
Our goal is to repair the developmental impact of trauma so children can re-enter a less restrictive academic setting ready to learn and form relationships.
Therapeutic Classroom
Through a 2:1 child/therapist ratio, the therapeutic small group setting provides intensive intervention in areas of behavior regulation and attachment repair.
