The Waivered Services Intern is responsible for assisting the Waivered Services Programs through Community Special Needs Services which includes Adventure Program, In-Home Waivered Services, and Residential Services.  Responsibilities include assisting with intakes and annuals, case management, direct care, program development, evaluating, and auditing files.

 

This is an unpaid fall internship with flexible scheduling around 10-20 hours per week.

 

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in undergraduate degree program in Human Services related field
  • Experience working or volunteering with people with special needs
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks
  • Strong communication skills
