Position: Pediatric Physical Therapist

The Pediatric Physical Therapist is responsible for the evaluation, intervention, planning and documentation of treatment. Parent consultation and discharge planning that include home program recommendations are deemed critical components of successfully providing an episode of care. The therapist must also consult with related professionals, caregivers and parents to coordinate therapy services, offer resources, and maximize child's potential for positive outcomes. These services are provided in accordance with St. David's policies and procedures, discipline specific codes of ethics, and state and federal regulations. The position requires a substantial degree of personal responsibility and autonomy to manage the daily schedule. The therapist is expected to maintain established productivity quotas.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work as a team member and interact with other therapists (occupational, speech/language,
- Excellent communication skills and ability to empathize with parental concerns.
- Maintain child/parent confidentiality following agency, state, and national standards.
- Minimum of 9 months of pediatric experience (or equivalent as determined by supervisor) preferred.
- Minnesota Licensure in Physical Therapy.
- Overall solid understanding of all pediatric therapy disorders or availability and creativity to acc
