Employment Opportunities
Mental Health Practitioner - 5 to 20 hours per week
At St. David's Center, our mission is to build relationships that nurture the development of every child and family. Based in the Twin Cities West Metro, we serve more than 2,500 children, adults and families each year. Due to growing need, we are looking for Mental Health Practitioners. This position offers:
- Rewarding in-home individual and family clinical services with children and adolescents with mental health diagnoses

Specific goals are identified in the client's Individual Treatment Plan and may include improved self-regulation, problem solving, coping strategies, and social skills.
Travel time to the client's home is reimbursed at the regular hourly wage calculated from the staff's home or from our center in St. Louis Park.
Qualifications:
Master's or other graduate degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university and less than 4,000 hours post-master's experience in the treatment of emotional disturbance,
OR
Graduate student in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields and formally assigned by an accredited college or university to an agency or facility for clinical training,
OR
Bachelor's Degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university, and at least 2,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of mental health services to children with emotional disturbances
- Must have training and experience working with children
- Must have own vehicle and valid driver's license.
- Must be able to commit to the position for a minimum of 6 months
