Position: Early Childhood Mental Health Outreach Clinician
At St. David's Center, our mission is to build relationships that nurture the development of every child and family. Based in the Twin Cities West Metro, we serve more than 2,500 children, adults and families each year. Currently, we are looking for an Early Childhood Mental Health Outreach (ECMHO) Clinician. This position offers:

As part of the ECMHO team at St. David's, the Clinician is responsible for providing direct mental health services to children and families identified by school district early childhood staff. Responsibilities include engaging in classroom observations, completing mental health diagnostic assessments as necessary, and providing services including classroom therapeutic playgroups, home visits, and individual and family therapy. The Clinician will also provide support and reflective consultation to school district staff by attending meetings, staffings, and parent-provider meetings.
This position is a 10 month position at 30 hours per week, full benefit eligible.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Mental Health field.
- Licensed and credentialed required (LICSW, LMFT, LP).
- 5 years experience in mental health and child development.
- Experience working with preschool age children, families, and school populations in childcare consultation.
- Thorough understanding of school readiness issues and strategies for supporting families at risk.
- Open and relationship-oriented communication style
- Ability to partner with families and school district staff.
