Fostering A Better Future: Make a Difference in a Child's Life

As a foster parent, you can make a positive impact on a child’s life and help a family get back on their feet. Foster care’s primary goal is to keep children safe while supporting families’ efforts to come back together. Whether you provide a loving home overnight or for many months, you play a huge role as each foster care treatment plan is unique to ensure optimal child development. Find out how you can make a difference, and get answers to any questions you might have, including:

  • Do I have to own a home?
  • What are the children like?
  • Is there financial reimbursement?
  • Can I work full time and still be a foster parent?
  • What kind of training or support will I receive?
